M2M Solar Certified
is an actual registered certification program that confirms and qualifies technology devices for using Solar Power in off grid settings.
Confirmation includes testing of the manufactures datasheet set points for the following:
power consumption at various stages, powering methods, conversions, efficiency and working temperature ratings.
Qualification includes investigating a devices reliability and robustness by researching electronic components within a device, its chassis make up and material, and reviews from previous users.
Upon completion of our tests and investigation, the device may become M2M Solar Certified and the manufacture will be allowed to use the certification mark on various forms of media, per our terms and conditions of use.
Terms and Conditions of use:
There is no charge for Certification at this time.
The certified devices manufacturer must add the logo within 1 inch of the pictured device on any media.
The Certified logo must be placed on any website depicting the device, and must be linked back to the device on M2MSolarcertified.com.
A discount code and special link must be provided to us for customers coming to the device manufactures website from M2MSolarCertified.com, for tracking and sell through purposes purposes.
Use of the logo without a certification approval is absolutely prohibited and will be referred to our legal team to be pursued.

We reserve the right to discontinue certification due to any quality issues, valid customer complaints, of end of product life.
In the event of end of life, the manufacturer is responsible to alert us.
We reserve the right via a 30 day notice to charge administrative fees for certification, if and when needed in the future.
CERTIFICATION CRITERIA:
M2M Solar certified certification Acceptance baseline:
WATTAGE Criteria
1. Any Wattage is acceptable, although device must state typical and maximum wattage consumption on device specification sheet
2. Device standby wattage should only produce its own wattage requirement in power step up devices
VOLTAGE Criteria
1. Networking devices must be powered by either 12, 24v DC
2. Wireless networking devices must be powered by either 12,24 or 48v DC
3. Recording devices must be powered by 12, 24v DC
4. Video camera devices must be powered by 12, 24 or 48v DC
POWER CONNECTION METHOD Criteria (Only one type hook up is needed)
1. Networking devices must have either a concentric barrel or screw down terminal hook ups
2. Wireless networking devices must have either a concentric barrel or screw down terminal hook ups
3. Recording devices must have either a concentric barrel or screw down terminal hook ups
4. Video Camera devices must have concentric barrel, screw down terminal or PoE hook ups
ENVIROMENTAL Criteria
1. Networking devices must be able to operate between -20f (-30c) and 158f (70c) at 95% humidity
2. Wireless devices must be able to operate between -20f (-30c) and 158f (70c) at 95% humidity
3. Recording devices must be able to operate between -20f (-30c) and 140f (60c) at 95% humidity
